T 4 2....and DUST Craft Swap

Now that the pressure of Blogtoberfest is off I haven't blogged for a few days - but keeping up with my Tuesday commitment to dust off a teapot , we are back on track with T42 Tuesday.

Last week I showed you a couple of storybook teapots - The pinocchio being one of my favourites, and I also said how I really wanted to add some more storybook ones to my collection....Well, look what turned up in the post today!

The Alice In Wonderland Sadler Teapot from the Storybook Collection
The detail in these pots are just fabulous - look at the little teapot painted on the spout
And on top , another little teapot sitting on a book - it is just so cute

Now , that is not all that turned up in the post today - I participated in the DUST craft-swap again last month , this is my fourth one and I have had such fantastic swap partners.
This time I was partnered with Pia from Giantshoots and she sent me two of her tote bags which have been screenprinted with her own designs.

SHOPPING BY NUMBERS is functional and helpful when you shop, as it lists all the common preservatives in your food by number and the problems that they can cause to your health - Great Idea Pia - Thanks :0)

Blogtoberfest Day 27- T42 Tuesday

Welcome to another T42 Tuesday -
Today we will be taking a peek at a couple of storybook Teapots
This one is one of my favourite Sadler Teapots from the Storybook Collection , it is thePinocchio

With beautiful illustrations and it looks like a stack of books - I am hoping to get another one in the series for my collection soon

Then we have The Tales Of Honeysuckle Hill

On the reverse it reads

Honeysuckle Hill is a small Hamlet located next to willow Brook. Nestled among the wildflowers and herbs are the homes of the locals, hence for generations most of the inhabitants have been named after the various wildflowers and herbs that grow in the area.
Vibrant and full of life, there is seldom a dull moment in Honeysuckle Hill. This thriving Hamlet is full of characters who all play an integral part within the community.
I have just completed 4 more of my
series which will be listed in store over the next few days.
The perfect accessory for a teaparty

T 4 2 - tuesday

"Have some wine," the March Hare said in an encouraging tone.
Alice looked all round the table, but there was nothing on it but tea. "I don't see any wine," she remarked.
"There isn't any" said the March Hare......

While the nonsense continues at the Mad Hatters Teaparty I will dust off a few more teapots and we shall have
T 4 2.

Well I simply must wear a teaspoon pendant for the teaparty.
What's cooking in the pot today - It smells delightful - A roast dinner perhaps...
And it is too wet outside to hang that washing, so we will just put it infront of the fire for a while...
And lets drink some tea.

Just enough to make me curiouser and curiouser...

And, for anyone who knows me you would know that Teapots are definately my bag baby, so I might just have to have my own Mad Hatters Teaparty to celebrate

Now we can't have a teaparty without a teaspoon so
I present to you my new series of mini spoon pendants
THE little ALICE collection.

"We planted white roses by mistake, and the Queen will have our heads unless we change them all to red!"
"I'm late. I'm late for a very important date. No time to say hello, goodbye, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late...
Drink Me - With just one sip Alice shrank so small....

The Nonsense at The Mad Hatters Teaparty..
"Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!
Up above the world you fly
Like a tea-tray in the sky."
So there you have my sneak preview of
The little ALICE collection
Now in store - the perfect thing to wear to the movie opening or to your own Tea Party.

Alice Peered through the keyhole......

My DUST TEAM CRAFTSWAP item has arrived from the wonderful Vanessa at Light and Shade. She has made for me an adorable paper sculpture corset on the Theme of Alice In Wonderland. The corset has been made from pages of the novel by Lewis Carroll and if you peer into the keyhole there are miniature playing cards tumbling down. The corset is even laced up with black satin ribbon. It is just soooooo adorable - Thankyou so much Vanessa.
And the little card to go with it was a beautiful touch - They are both sitting in pride of place on my bedroom dressing table.
