Cotton Face Scrubbies

It is great to have a variety of items for markets, and with my next one being for mothers day I have made up some crochet cotton face scrubbies.

I use these all the time - they are great to hang in the shower and then just rub a little soap onto them to clean your face. Also great for make-up removal - then just pop them into the washing machine.

A giveaway for Tupperware Junkies...

The Shape-O

I do not believe that any of my readers would not own any tupperware. It is iconic, funky, practical solution to storage. Alot of us have way too much tupperware and hence are "tupperware junkies". If you are a tupperware junkie then you would know all too well about the "tupperslide"...this is infact a term I made up but you would have experienced it. Reaching into the cupboard to find a container, which is nestled among several others, you get hold of it and try to carefully bring it out, only to find that the rest of the tupperware has toppled over and done a big "tupperslide" onto the floor!!!! Ahhhh the joys of tupperware.

Well it just so happens that I am an ex-dealer of tupperware and have quite a few keychains and little gift items , which are excessive to my needs....sooooooooooo, I thought how about a giveaway.

What a generous Gal is Lisa xo

I entered into Lisa's blog giveaway last month over at Lil Sonny Sky and was lucky enough to be one of her winners. Well today whilst in my pre-market flurry the postman knocked on the door with a parcel from the UK. It was from Lisa, and boy oh boy has she spoilt me. I never cease to be amazed at the generousity of some people - Lisa I am sending you lots of virtual hugs!!! Thankyou so much.

The package was so beautifully wrapped in ribbon with a handmade cards which reads

"Open me up, quickly....come on, hurry up!! xxx"

So I got into a panic and tried to get the ribbon off quickly...he he he he...

Lucky Day...

During the month of October I participated in Blogtoberfest and I discovered lots of lovely new blogs to read and entered in many wonderful giveaways. One of which was from the blog

I SPEAK MELSH by Mel, and I was lucky enough to be a runner up prize winner. Well today I got my wonderful prize and she has really excelled herself as I have been spoilt with lovely cards, notebook, craft papers, charm and chocolate!!! And it has come all the way across the globe from the UK. Thankyou so much Mel and it couldn't have come at a better time because........................

I have a project in mind!! Today I set out with the hopes of finding myself an old case that I could use to take to market to display my rag dolls in. And can you believe my luck, the very first op shop that I went to I spied it on the top shelf down the back corner, and it was just what I was looking for!!!! Sold... It doesn't look much now, but I plan to work some magic on it and decoupage it until it looks awesome. Mels papers are going to come in handy for this project.
