The little crafter

Here is another hat I have done, which was a special request from a friend - she now has it and is wearing it.

My little girl has been saving bottle tops , just incase she came up with an idea on what to do with them. Well yesterday she had an idea. She has glued lots of lovely beads and buttons into them and we are deciding on whether to make them into magnets or stick them onto backing card to make a picture. I thought that they looked so lovely and bright that I wanted to share.

What do you think of this???

On the weekend it was so cold here - so being trapped in the house gives you a chance to either do housework or get creative. I chose the latter. I brushed up on my crocheting skills (of which I don't have that many) and taught myself how to make this hat.

And I learnt how to make a flower too!!

I was going to make it for myself , but you can see it looks alot cuter on my little girl . Looks like I will have to make another one for me - and eldest daughter.....Well it sure beats housework!!
