In need of inspiration - Market Stall

With the big school music production all done and dusted I need to focus on my 3 day market next week!! I am seriously behind with this but don't want my stall to look "thrown together".

The Dynamics have changed since my last market as I have lots more crochet work. I have funky hats and slippers but I don't want my stall to look "nanna-ish"!!!

So today I plan to sit down and draw how I would like it to look and then try to action this plan.
I think for a start I need to find a hat stand!!
Also I need some way to hang up my banner, as it is an indoor market so no canopy.
I need to learn how to make use of small spaces!

But most of all
I NEED HELP.

I just love this latest creation and I love playing around with words.
This design is not just a Spoon but a Fork aswell. So not only can you
Get SPOONed you can Get FORKed too.
The fork is entwined around a chocolate resin heart and I have named this one

This one will be going to Market on the weekend but you will see more of these in store soon

A fabulous weekend. Markets, Wine, Music....

After a day of heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds I was unsure just how the easter weekend was going to turn out. But as luck would have it, the sun shone down on us for a perfect market day on the Denmark River.
My Market Stall with the tranquil river behind
I had the company of Karen NewEarthSoaps on the stall next to me.
My Easter Bunnies.

The next day we went to a winery to chill out and watch
Xave Brown play some great tunes.
It just so happens as an extra bonus for me that they were having a Teapot Exhibition
at the winery.
Here are some of the teapots on display.

You could make a huge brew with this one.
Xave Brown and his son, who plays a mean bongo. We were about this close from the band - scored the front table. Nice.

Hope you all had a great weekend too.

Bunnies going to Market

You may recall in an earlier post that I had made a few Flopsy Rabbits - well as rabbits do, they seem to have multiplied!!! So here is the little brood that will be going to Easter Market.

Meet Some Dusters

I belong to a team of Australian Etsy sellers called D.U.S.T (down under street team). Usually we just chat online, but today some of us got to meet each other face to face at the Denmark River Market day. It was a hot day but we had a lovely river behind us and beautiful big shady trees.
This was my first time doing a market on my own (previously I have shared a table with Samara aka Maddabling ) ...so here are some photos of how it looked.

The kids were entertained!

Market Countdown....

I am now getting serious with my market preparation...well I kind of have to as there are only 5 days to go.. I got quite a bit done today - display boards, signs, table set up. I just have to price all of my bangles

This is the board I did up for my "little Alice collection"
So if you are in the area, I would love to see you at the Denmark River Markets , Saturday Dec 12th, 10am - 4pm.

THE RESIN TREE

This is what I have been creating this afternoon - An unusual display stand for resin bangles to take to market.
I call it the Resin Tree.

How do you think it looks?
