It's a wishlist T42

This week I am going to show you just a few of the teapots on my wishlist - not that I am short of my own teapots to show you, it's just that we had a long weekend here in WA and today has been busy, and to be honest I forgot it was tuesday - so now it is night time and there is no way I am getting up to dust off a pot .

Radio - I love, love, love this one...the funky retro radio with a cup of tea & biscuits, ball of wool and knitting needles on top

Band on Tour - How cool is this ??

The Teapottery, home of the eccentric teapot has my favourite designs.
So anyway, it will be my birthday soon so it doesn't hurt to have a wishlist started.

T42 - Yes it's late - Tuesday

So it is night time and I there has been so much happening today that I haven't had time for tea.
Inbetween floorboards being sanded , shopping, doc appts and general chaos I now find a little time just for you.
So to calm the crazy day I have a couple of tealight teapots to set the mood

These two were both gifts from a couple of my best friends - the smaller one has a vase with flowers and says "Friendship Blooms"

Is that the sound of the postie......brrrrmmmmm

Don't you just love the sound of the postie - Especially when there might be some wonderful etsy goodness in the bag . This week I received a

Finki Business Card Holder -
I already have one but this one was for my Mum (she loves it)

Also, a gorgeous retro button headband
from Lou @ Buttons by Lou Lou - I was lucky enough to win this one.

And this lovely handbag made by Michelle at MSHandbags
Pinned to it is a handfelted brooch made by Wilma at Empresswu which I was also lucky enough to win on her blog competition and she made the brooch in my colour choice.
So , as you can see, so far it has been a great week !!!

Yes it is Tuesday Again- T 4 2

Well I was tempted to skip T42 today as I have received lots of lovely things in the post this week that I wanted to show you - but thought I better dust a teapot today and then save the other goodies for tomorrow.
This one is such a funky shape - It has a square base and then pyramids up - It is so bold and bizarre - A very cool piece
Today I have also been busy finishing off some resin rings and have started to list a few

So Far ,,,So good - come and join me

Ok, so if you haven't been over to Zibbet yet to take a peek then it's worth a look. You pay nothing to list your items and no sales fees!!! That's right - nothing to lose.
It is great to cross-promote your etsy store too as you can put an etsy mini on your site.
So even if you don't have much in store there is the link to etsy if that is your main shop.

This week they also improved on their already pretty good listing set-up (I find it much quicker than etsy) and you can now "copy listing" if you have similar items.
So if you are looking for another way to get exposure to your items then try Zibbet.
The basic account is Free and the Premium account is $7 a month but if you put in this coupon code FREETRIAL when signing up you can try out the premium account for free for 7 days, if you don't like it just drop back to basic account and sell for free....

Now , I don't want to overload you with info but just so you know , once you have signed up to Zibbet for each person you refer to the site you will get $1 off your monthly fee - So all it takes is 7 referrals and you have a free premium account.

And another good thing about Zibbet is that it is Australian . Started by 2 guys in Sydney, and they are quick to answer any problems you have .

So , go on, give it a go

Maybe today it will be T 4 1....

I just love it when the posty arrives with something good for me. Today my tea samples from Verity arrived and they smell so good. As you can see I am all set up ready to try one out but it will have to wait a few more hours .

Today I have been for a walk, done 4 loads of washing due to their being a little bit of sickness last night with my youngest girl, and cast some resin bangles with a selection of new colours that I was busting to try out. I will show you how those turned out later in the week.

Beautifully wrapped and smelling divine.
So I really can't be bothered in dusting my teapots today - (slaps own wrist) so I have taken a photo of one of the pelmets that house some of my teapots - as you can see these are all of my blue ones

And here is just a sneak peak of the super warm ruffled edged quilt that I am making. It is draped over my chair at the moment and I am in the process of snipping the edges then I just need to bind it and wash it and I will be able to show you the finished product. I must make mention that this is a joint effort with my Mum and I - I don't think I would attempt a quilt this large by myself for my first attempt. It is going to look great when it is all done.
Oh, and the skull cap crochet beanie with flower is one that I made a few weeks ago. Gee I am super talented (pats self on the back)...he he...

thanks for joining me in T 4 2 - although I think these ones I will have to keep to myself - so this week it is
T 4 1.
mmmm, vanilla
mmmmmm, cinnamon

Zibbitty do daa

Thanks to an article by Nicky at the Australian Etsy Blog I have now been introduced to another selling outlet. It is called Zibbet - a funky little name short for exhibit. What attracted me to try selling here is that you do not pay listing fees or selling fees - so I can sell for free!
There is a basic and premium account you can open - Basic is Free and Premium is $7 per month (you can be eligable to get this money back though by referring sellers to the site).

I have lots of reading to do but so far it has been a very easy site to use and list items on.

My Store has only just opened so stocks are low but I will be working on it over the next few weeks.

t 4 2 - tuesday

Spring has sprung - the sun is out, the flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping - all the signs that winter is hopefully behind us.
So on a lovely Spring Afternoon what sort of tea would I find you sipping on.

I am being tempted by all the lovely tea that is available in the etsy store of Joiedetea
If you are as mad on tea as I am on teapots then take a look at her delightful brews.

Now today I haven't gone with any real theme, I just a grabbed a few that I love and that caught my eye.
I love the design of this one and the bold pattern is very funky
This little beauty comes with it's own cosy
Ta- Dah! Open Wide - It is like a little UFO - I love it.
And this one - Just lovely in it's simplicity - Stainless Steel and Functional
It rests on the little stand that I bought last week (see this post)
I would love to hear what your favourite brews are.
Seeyou next week with some more teapots
