Today my girls had a creative afternoon, we decided to try and make a sock dolly. Despite our lack of pattern or plan they did well. They stitched her up using our old manual Singer and even stitched the buttons on themselves.

I promised to show you my latest creations....so here they are

These loveable heart pendants have been created from my own heart pendant mould then drilled and embellished with beads or resin hearts - Bright, Funky, Bold and all lined up ready to be listed in store.

A modern twist on the carved celluloid jewellery popular in the 1920' and 30's -

Beautiful roses cast in resin - lovely and lightweight and perfect to wear with a spring outfit.

A gorgeous brooch is the centre piece of this spoon pendant

A little spoonful of love - a silver heart surrounded by pearls, roses & key charm.

Blogtoberfest Day 2 - A poem

Well, what can I say . This morning when I woke up to find my two dear daughters drawing and writing away Miss 7 says "Mum, look I have written a poem".....

It went like this

One little Kookaburra sitting in a tree

Then it did a wee

That wee fell on a bee

And the bee stung that tree

(at least she can rhyme)

Blogtoberfest Day 1 - The House

It's October!!! Yes I kid you not. This month I am aiming to post something on my blog everyday as part of BLOGTOBERFEST. There are lots of giveaways happening as part of the festivities, take a look HERE for the list.

So I will start the month off with some lovely spring irises in my garden as they are much prettier than what is happening inside...

Welcome to my House - It is currently under renovation - yesterday the front entrance and passage had the carpet removed and the floors sanded - today the sealant will go on - tomorrow....well we may start on the bedroom

This week I am going to show you just a few of the teapots on my wishlist - not that I am short of my own teapots to show you, it's just that we had a long weekend here in WA and today has been busy, and to be honest I forgot it was tuesday - so now it is night time and there is no way I am getting up to dust off a pot .
